you know, i like not having a phone at the moment…most people freak out because they think theyve forever lost contact with the world and all 6.5 of their friends will never talk to them again. sure face to face conversation is slightly inconvenient nowadays but to be in that deep of a servitude to a piece of metal is degrading.
so i found my brothers old sidekick lx and thought hey, i could use this for the time being instead of buying a new phone, all id have to do is say i lost my sim card right? wrong..i flipped the screen open like cool sidekickers do and the screen went instant black.
i dont want to say yesterday was the worst day of my life, but its hard to call it anything else. i went to dorney park with my family, and within 10mins of being in the park, my backpack gets stolen. on any other day, pffffft take the damn thing, its 5 years old with chinese food grease stains on the bottom. but it just so happened that my cellphone…camera…ipod…wallet…keys…and a whole bunch of nice writing utensils amongst other stuff was inside it. the cellphone, although it was my baby and i will never get another one because was a $600 unicorn of phones, is replaceable. my camera…sigh my camera…welp i guess i wont be wont be tagging things with #photography for a while..but i was planning on getting a new one in the coming fall anyways. i always hated my ipod..i have a thing against iOS, but i only had one because it came with my mac for free and relieved me from using my phones battery to listen to music. idc about my keys, but my prom picture was on it, that saddens me. now my wallet……wtf man. licence, credit card, bank cards, insurance cards, gift cards, school ID and some money…gone. im not mad that theyre gone, im mad that i have to do so much work to get them back. adkjkajdf gahh i just remembered that i had a book in there that my best friend gave me, Strength in What Remains, in which i started to read and really liked but is now gone. but i guess the title kinda applies to this situation. im still alive so all isnt lost i guess. well i hope whoever did this enjoys my stuff, because there wont be ebay in hell.
why is american television so bad? i’ve watched two entire korean dramas over the last 2 months or so, and i think that it was more enjoyable than 85% of shows that aired on tv over the last few years. yeah yeah bang your little mental gavel and judge me all you want but in the end, america just does mediocre very well. plus id do anything Shin Min-A asked me to do.
